Estate Planning Council of Montgomery County, Maryland

The Estate Planning Council of Montgomery County, Maryland, Inc. is an interdisciplinary organization of professionals involved in estate planning. The Council meets multiple times each year, offering speakers who discuss topics related to estate planning.  The purpose of the organization is:

  • To assist its members in rendering the best possible professional service to their clients and their communities in the disciplines of estate planning;
  • To provide a forum for discussion of topics relevant to its members’ professions in the context of estate planning;
  • To provide its members the opportunity to keep abreast of laws and conditions affecting business and personal taxation and the problems of wealth accumulation, conservation and transfer; and
  • To foster and promote intelligent cooperation and cordial understanding among its members with respect to the proper relationship among the disciplines providing estate planning and related services.

Our organization includes members from six estate planning disciplines:

  • Trust Services
  • Valuations
