This interdisciplinary panel will shine light on income tax, estate and gift tax and charitable planning considerations post-OBBBA.\n\nAbout the Speakers:\nPanel:\nRichard S. Chisholm, CPA, JD is the founding member of Chisholm Law Group, LLC and was previously a managing partner of WardChisholm, LLP, ChisholmOliver, LLP, and various predecessor entities.Richard’s law practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, business and individual tax planning, and domestic and international tax planning and compliance. Utilizing his decades of experience as an attorney, certified public accountant, and former Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Services, Richard moves seamlessly among those practice areas, providing his clients with efficient, creative, and effective results. Formerly an adjunct professor of law for 14 years, he contributed to the legal community by teaching estate and gift taxation and estate planning courses to law students and is a frequent lecturer for continuing education courses to the legal and accounting communities.\n \nRandy Ryan, CPA/PFS is a member of the Chevy Chase Trust Planning Group where he works closely with clients in the development of their personal financial plans. Randy has advised high net worth individuals, corporate executives and small business owners for over 25 years. Prior to joining Chevy Chase Trust, Randy was the Director of Financial Planning at OARS Capital. Previously, Randy was a Senior Financial Planner and Head of Tax at the Mason Companies and a Senior Tax Manager with the Employee Benefits and Executive Wealth Solutions practice at Watkins Meegan. Before that, he was with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and began his career providing individual tax and estate planning services at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG.\n \nMegan Wallace, Esq., is the Principal of Wallace Law, LLC, where her practice is devoted to estate planning, probate, and trust administration in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.She works with individuals and families—both traditional and non-traditional—to design customized plans that may include wills, trusts, and other essential estate planning documents. In addition to her practice, Megan is an Adjunct Professor of Law at American University Washington College of Law, where she teaches Wills, Trusts, and Estates. She has been recognized for her excellence in the field, having been selected to Super Lawyers, named a Top Attorney by Bethesda Magazine, and honored as the inaugural recipient of the Nancy Fax Professional Advisor in Philanthropy Award by the Greater Washington Community Foundation.\n \nModerator: \nLaura L. Stone, Esq. is a partner in the DC office of Harrison LLP, a nationally-recognized private wealth planning law firm.  She has been practicing for more than 30 years focusing on estate planning and administration for high net worth clients. Laura has been recognized numerous times as a Top Estate Attorney in the Washingtonian magazine, including the Lifetime Achievement award in 2023. Laura is a past President and Board Member of the Estate Planning Council of Montgomery County and an active member of the DC Estate Planning Council.
